The Tap Room in Pacific Beach is one the latest additions to the bars on Garnet Street.  With a brand-spankin' new bar and decor, a friendly and beer-knowledgable staff, and 35 local microbrews on tap you could sware a wallet beating would be next... but you would be wrong.  Local beers are only $4 a pint and happy hour gets even better.  The Tap Room is the perfect place for locals to grab a slice and a brew after a day in the sun. Formerly Isola Lounge.

Awesome TV's everywhere for sports games. Fantastic Pizza and great local beers. everything else in that spot has been crap. Finally something good!

The tap room is ok. The food is iffy and the beers (a lot of drafts) really weren't that good in my opinion. But go for yourself and see if you go back there when Longboards and Cabo Cantina are just a few blocks away.
